Пришла идея в голову стилизовать корпус под Lego. Взял за основу корпус NZXT H700 i. Он хорошо подходит для данной задачи. У него плоская передняя, верхняя и боковая правая панель. Что дает маневр для дальнейшего модинга. Но я пока остановился на лицевой панели.
The idea came to mind to stylize the case under Lego. I took the NZXT H700 i case as a basis. It is well suited for this task. It has a flat front, top and side right panel. Which gives a maneuver for further modding. But I have stopped at the front panel for now.
Как это было сделано
Сначала я высчитал реальные размеры одного кубика. Это было не сложно, в интернете есть информация о размерах. Базовый размер 1х1 у Lego всегда одинаков, хоть на плэйты, хоть на кубики. После этого я перенес размер в 3ds max на примитив и затайлил переднюю панель корпуса. Получилось 29х63 тайла. Зная эти размеры, я сделал прототип в Figma.
Выбрал левый вариант, он более классический и сочный:)
First I calculated the actual dimensions of one cube. It was not difficult, there is information about the sizes on the Internet. The base size of 1x1 for Lego is always the same, even on boards, even on cubes. After that, I moved the size to 3ds max to a primitive and sealed the front panel of the case. It turned out to be 29x63 tiles. Knowing these dimensions, I made a prototype in Figma.
I chose the left option, it is more classic and juicy :)
Далее через сервис mecabricks сделал основу с объемной надписью. Помогал мне в этом прототип из Figma. После чего я ее перенес в 3ds max и примерил на лицевую панель. Все сошлось хорошо. Теперь осталось только настроить свет и цвет каждого тайлика.
Then, through the mecabricks service, I made a base with a three-dimensional inscription. The prototype from Figma helped me with this. Then I moved it to 3ds max and tried it on the front panel. Everything came together well. Now it remains only to adjust the light and color of each tile.
